Minato no Mieru Oka Park Observatory
In *Welcome to the NHK*, episode 8, Sato Tatsuhiro and Kashiwagi stand on an observatory in a hilltop park with a panoramic view of the bay. Kashiwagi faces the twinkling lights of the harbor and confesses to Sato that she has decided to get married, her expression a mix of resolve and resignation. Sato gazes at the distant giant ferris wheel and the shimmering lights of ships on the sea, remaining silent. Behind them, beyond the railing, lies the entire nighttime port.
