Contract on the Apartment Stairs
In the first episode of *Welcome to the N.H.K.*, protagonist Tatsuhiro Satou encounters a mysterious girl named Misaki Nakahara on the outdoor stairs of his apartment building. She introduces herself as being from the “N.H.K.” and hands him a contract to join a plan to save shut-ins.
