In the opening sequence of *Ping Pong the Animation*, the two main characters ride their bicycles down a steep slope parallel to the coastline. To the left, the deep blue sea stretches out with a distant island visible; to the right, residential walls line the street. The slope ends at a station-front intersection, framed by traffic lights and utility poles.
