Nogi Station Platform
In *5 Centimeters per Second*, Takaki stands alone on the platform of a local railway station as snowflakes fall. He gazes at the white smoke rising from factory chimneys in the distance. The platform is nearly empty, with only the announcement of an incoming train breaking the silence. He waits here for a transfer, his heart filled with anticipation and anxiety about meeting Akari.
