In '5 Centimeters per Second', on a late-night platform buried in snow, the train is delayed by a blizzard. A teenage boy stands alone at the edge of the platform, beside cold rails and dim lights. He checks his watch anxiously, surrounded by falling snowflakes swirling in the lamplight. The scene is filled with loneliness and the weight of passing time.
