Hilltop
In the second chapter "Cosmonaut" of *5 Centimeters per Second*, Sumida Kanae and Tohno Takaki stand on a hilltop overlooking a space launch center. Kanae tries to make conversation, struggling internally to confess her feelings, but ultimately says nothing as she watches a rocket launch in the distance. The hilltop is surrounded by dense trees, with a view of the huge launch pad and the sea.
