Reunion on the Shinkansen platform
In *Tamako Love Story*, the heroine Tamako chases after Mochizō who is heading to Tokyo. She dashes into a large station and runs up the stairs to the platform, finding him beside a white-nosed train. They embrace on the platform near a bench, with the tracks and station roof stretching behind them. The train doors are about to close. This emotional farewell and reunion takes place on the platform.
