Under the Vermilion Torii
In *One Week Friends*, Kaori Fujimiya and Yuki Hase often pass by a vermilion torii gate after school. The gate stands at the top of a slope, flanked by stone lanterns and lush trees. In spring, cherry blossom petals drift by, and the two sometimes stop to talk under the gate, or Kaori lingers alone, reminiscing about moments with Yuki.
