The Slope of Encounter
In *CLANNAD: After Story*, the protagonist Tomoya Okazaki meets the girl Nagisa Furukawa on a long slope leading to school under cherry blossoms in full bloom. The slope is lined with cherry trees, the school building visible in the distance, and the morning sunlight shines through the petals. Nagisa softly mutters "Anpan," Tomoya stops his bicycle, and their fated conversation begins.
