The Small Station at Summer's End
In *CLANNAD: After Story*, Tomoya Okazaki takes his daughter Ushio on a trip at the end of summer. They arrive at a small station facing the sea, with a low platform and a vast view of blue ocean and sky. Ushio excitedly runs up the stairs in front of the station, while Tomoya quietly watches her, the sea breeze blowing through their hair. The station building is a simple wooden structure with a faded signboard, and wildflowers bloom beside the tracks. This scene is filled with the sadness of parting and growth, one of the most memorable moments in the entire work.
