Daikanyama Station
In *Wandering Son*, the station where protagonist Shuichi Nitori and his friends pass through every day on their way to and from school has narrow platforms with trains running frequently on both sides. On winter mornings, Shuichi often meets his friend Sasa Chiba on the platform, their breath visible in the cold air as they chat about school. Outside the station is a quiet sloping street lined with ginkgo trees, whose fallen leaves cover the ground in autumn.
