Akina Mountain Hairpins and Gutter Technique
In *Initial D*, protagonist Takumi Fujiwara drives his AE86 down this mountain road every morning to deliver tofu, honing extraordinary drifting skills. The road is filled with consecutive hairpin turns, lined with guardrails and dense forests. Takumi uses the gutter technique to take the inside line in corners. This is the main stage for all classic downhill races in the series.
