Tatsuyoshi's Municipal Housing
In *Mai Mai Shinko to Sennen no Mahou*, this is a row of uniform municipal housing units with gray cement walls and dark tiled roofs. Children often play on the open ground in front of these houses, and one of them, a boy named Tatsuyoshi, lives here. On summer afternoons, the cicadas chirp loudly, and sunlight filters through trees casting dappled shadows on the walls.
