Crossroads
In *Mai Mai Shinko and the Thousand-Year Magic*, the protagonists pass through a simple crossroad on their daily way to school. On the four corners, there are old wooden houses and a patch of farmland. In spring, the rapeseed flowers bloom, and children laugh and play here. In the sunset, their shadows stretch long. This crossroad connects the school path and the village's main road.
