Right-angled canal
In *Mai Mai Shinko and the Millennium Magic*, the protagonist Shinko and her friends often play by this canal. At a right-angled bend, the water changes direction, surrounded by vast farmland and distant hills. Under the sunlight, children chase and catch fish here, full of the serene and lively atmosphere of the Showa-era countryside.
