Scenery on the way to school
In *Mai Mai Miracle*, the narrow path that Shinko and her friends take to school every day. One side is lined with rice fields, the other with an old irrigation ditch, and in the distance, rolling mountains. In the morning sun, they walk with backpacks, laughing and sometimes stopping to watch frogs or pick wildflowers.
