The Town's Ground-Level Station
In "And Yet the Town Moves", the protagonist Step and her friends frequently pass through this ground-level station with a small station building and low platforms. In the evening glow, Step bids farewell to her classmates here or rushes up the slope in front of the station to catch the train. A large ginkgo tree stands on the platform, its golden leaves covering the ground in autumn.
