Stone Steps with Recorder
In *Non Non Biyori*, a long stone staircase surrounded by greenery leads up to an old temple. At the top, a girl with twin tails—Renge Miyauchi—often stops to play her recorder. The walls on both sides of the steps are covered with moss, and sunlight filters through the trees, casting dappled shadows.
