Oarai Isosaki Shrine (as depicted in the film)
In *Girls und Panzer der Film*, the girls climb the stone steps of a seaside shrine perched on a cliff to pray for victory in their upcoming tank battles. The massive stone torii gate faces the ocean, and the long staircase leads to the main hall, with the roaring Pacific Ocean as a backdrop. Protagonist Miho Nishizumi and her teammates stop here, clasp their hands in earnest prayer, their uniforms and hair blowing in the sea breeze.
