In *Yosuga no Sora*, Kasugano Haruka arrives at a rural station under the scorching summer sun. The platform is low, surrounded by rice fields and cicada cries. He walks out of the ticket gate, dragging his suitcase, setting foot for the first time into an unfamiliar town that will be the start of his new life.
