In *The Eccentric Family*, the four Shimogamo brothers and their mother gather at this centuries-old restaurant for a steaming hot sukiyaki dinner. The shop features a simple noren curtain and a wooden lattice door, leading to a typical Kyoto-style tatami room with a view of a small garden. Yasaburo banters with his brothers while their mother cheerfully serves meat.
