The bridge where Yasaburō meets Benten
In *The Eccentric Family*, a traditional arched bridge spans a wide river. Its deck is paved with stone slabs, and low metal railings line both sides. Benten, dressed in a vivid kimono, leans alone against the railing at the center of the bridge, her long hair and sleeves fluttering in the river breeze. Yasaburō approaches from one end, and they engage in a dangerous conversation about fate and games. Beneath the bridge, the river flows gently, with low houses and distant mountains visible.
