Shijō Bridge - Stage for Family and Tanuki
In *The Eccentric Family*, this large bridge spanning a wide river appears many times. At the beginning of episode 5, the camera pans across the bridge, showing rows of houses neatly lined on both banks, with rows of terraces extending from the houses where citizens relax and dine on summer nights. The tanukis' conflicts and family bonds are often set against this bridge.
