Memories on the Stone Steps
In "Hikaru no Go", after Sai disappears, Hikaru Shindo travels alone by boat to an island. He climbs a long stone staircase leading to a shrine, where a massive rock stands before him, overlooking the sparkling Seto Inland Sea. Standing there, he is filled with longing and memories of Sai.
