JR Obihiro Station South Exit
In *Silver Spoon*, protagonist Yūgo Hachiken first arrives in Obihiro and exits from the south gate of the station. The scene shows a typical Hokkaido local station exit with an open plaza in front, a few taxis waiting, and distant views of Obihiro's streets and buildings. This transportation hub marks the beginning of Yūgo's life at Ōezo Agricultural High School.
