Shinjuku Gyoen Ticket Machine
In *The Garden of Words*, the protagonist Takao Akizuki arrives alone at the entrance of a large Japanese-style garden park. He inserts coins into the automatic ticket machine to buy an admission ticket. Raindrops are falling on the lush green leaves around him. After purchasing a student ticket, he pushes open the garden gate and enters.
