Stone Arch at Shinjuku Gyoen Entrance
In "The Garden of Words", early in the film, the protagonist Takao Akizuki walks alone, carrying his backpack, through a stone archway into a lush park. The rain has just stopped, sunlight filters through the leaves, and the wet pavement reflects the light. Above the arch, a sign indicates the gate's name; trees line both sides. This gate is a key entrance to the main setting of the story.
