Teramachi Street
In "Tamako Market", at the beginning of episode 1, Tamako and her friends, dressed in their school uniforms, walk along a street lined with traditional Japanese shops and machiya houses. The street is full of local life, and Tamako greets the shopkeepers as she passes by, with sunlight filtering through the trees.
