In *Tamako Market* at the end of episode 2, Tamako returns to the Usagi Shopping District. She approaches the west entrance of the shopping street, under the arched gate with a sign reading "Shopping Street". On both sides, shop fronts are decorated with flowers and goods, with mountain silhouettes in the background. Here she meets the tofu shop owner who is closing up for the day, and they smile and greet each other.
