In *Oreimo* (Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai), at the end of episode 2, protagonist Kōsaka Kyōsuke and high school girl Kuroneko (Ruri Gokō), dressed in a black gothic Lolita outfit, stand outside a large capsule toy (gachapon) specialty store. The storefront displays samples of various capsule toy machines, and bright lights illuminate the evening street.
