The Road Home with Tomoyo
In *Clannad*, episode 17, Tomoyo and Tomoya walk side by side on their way home from school. The street is lined with ordinary houses, and the sunset paints the sky orange. Tomoyo suddenly stops, turns to look at Tomoya, and says something about the future. The telephone poles and vending machines along the road look very familiar.
