Beginning to climb the slope
In *CLANNAD*, on the slope leading to Hikarizaka High School, cherry blossoms fall as the lazy protagonist Tomoya Okazaki trudges upward. He encounters the heroine Nagisa Furukawa, who is muttering to herself. Nagisa asks, "Do you like this school?" Tomoya replies, "I hate it." This marks the start of their fate.
