In CLANNAD, Tomoya Okazaki walks along a long slope lined with cherry trees, petals swirling in the air. He notices a girl ahead standing still, murmuring to herself. As he stops, she turns around and hesitantly says, 'Ano...' That is the beginning of the story and their first fateful encounter.
