Prototype of Kinkodo Bookstore
In *Ocean Waves*, protagonist Taku passes by a bookstore and notices Rikako standing in front of the art book shelves, deeply absorbed. She hesitates over an expensive art book, and Taku offers to lend her money. The warm indoor lighting, narrow aisles between shelves, and the sound of summer cicadas outside create a delicate adolescent atmosphere.
