In *Only Yesterday*, the protagonist Taeko Okajima recalls her elementary school days. This is the school she attended. The wooden school building, empty classrooms, swimming pool, and playground are filled with a Showa-era nostalgic atmosphere, carrying Taeko's childhood memories with her classmates.
