Gravel Road
In *Only Yesterday*, the protagonist Taeko and her classmates walk along a narrow gravel road bordered by fields and wildflowers, heading to pick red safflower petals. The road is unpaved, with stones and dirt, and tall grass on the sides. Summer sunlight filters through the leaves.
