School Route Stairs
In *Whisper of the Heart*, the protagonist Shizuku Tsukishima passes a long stone staircase every day on her way to and from school. The stairs are flanked by quiet residential houses, with cherry blossoms in spring and green shades in summer. She often runs or pauses to think on these steps.
