Bamboo Tunnel
In *Whisper of the Heart*, the heroine Shizuku Tsukishima rides her bicycle through a dense bamboo grove where sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled shadows. She meets or walks with Seiji Amasawa here. The tall bamboos form a green tunnel on both sides, and the path is a simple country lane.
