Kyon passing in front of a station
In *The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya*, at the beginning of the first episode, the protagonist Kyon rides his bicycle past a station front. The station building has an arched roof and a protruding clock tower. The road in front is lined with trees, and residential areas can be seen in the distance. Kyon mutters about the boredom of everyday life as he cycles.
