Showdown in Front of the Record Shop
In "The Flowers of Evil", the protagonist Takao Kasuga and Sawa Nakamura encounter each other in front of a second-hand record shop at the end of a somewhat shabby shopping street. At dusk, the street is dim, with only the warm light of this shop spilling out, as the two face off briefly at the entrance.
