Used Bookstore
In *The Flowers of Evil*, the protagonist Takao Kasuga often visits a cramped used bookstore after school. The dim interior is filled with towering shelves of old books, carrying the scent of paper and dust. He browses for books here, finding it a place to escape reality. In the first episode, he is seen flipping through a poetry collection at the counter.
