Memory on the Bridge
In *Oblivion Battery*, after school the three main characters take a detour to a red steel arch bridge. The wide road has little traffic; they lean against the northern railing, gazing across the river at dense industrial cranes on the far bank. The setting sun tints the water gold. Seiyū Yashiro (?) breaks the silence with a serious tone—this is where they have an honest exchange that changes their relationship.
