Station East Exit Plaza
In *A Sign of Affection*, the protagonist Yuki walks alone through an open plaza in front of the station's east exit. The ground is paved with neat tiles, and a decorative flowerbed sits in the center. She trips on a step, about to fall, when a passerby (Itsuomi) quickly reaches out to catch her. Their eyes meet in that moment, marking the beginning of their story. In the cold winter air, Yuki's scarf flutters, and the surrounding shopping street glows with lights.
