Izumo Taisha Haiden
In *Zatsu Tabi: That's Journey* episode 11, the main characters visit a grand shrine and stand before its worship hall. Above the hall hangs an exceptionally thick sacred rope (shimenawa), with a large straw knot at the entrance. The characters look up in awe at the scale of the architecture and mimic the worship ritual, clasping their hands in prayer.
