Commuting Road
In *Kami-chu!*, the protagonist Yuuri Hitotsubashi walks along a long slope every day on her way to school. The slope is lined with old houses and stone walls, and from the higher points you can see the Seto Inland Sea. She passes under a red torii gate, the entrance to a local shrine, where a cat sometimes sits on the steps. The morning sunlight falls on the cobblestone path, and the sound of radio exercise music can be heard in the distance.
