In *Maria-sama ga Miteru*, the north exit of a station frequently appears as the place where characters gather after class. Exiting the ticket gate, the bus terminal and shelters are on the right, while a sloping street leading to a shopping arcade lies on the left. In the early morning and evening, students in dark navy sailor uniforms converge here; the shot often lingers on the clock tower and colored paving tiles in the station square.
