The station front where Sorata first arrives
In *The Pet Girl of Sakurasou*, the protagonist Sorata Kanda walks out of the station with his luggage. On the square in front of the station, he sees an old lady in a straw hat waving at him. In the center of the square stands an old clock tower, surrounded by low-rise shopping street buildings. Sunlight spills onto the stone pavement, creating a leisurely summer atmosphere.
