In the first episode of *The Pet Girl of Sakurasou*, the protagonist Sorata Kanda exits the station dragging a suitcase, pauses beside a bench in the station square, and looks up at the station clock tower. Spring cherry blossom petals drift down, creating an atmosphere of the new school term.
