Ornate Shrine Complex
In *Dark Gathering*, the protagonists visit an extremely ornately decorated ancient shrine complex. Its most famous features include a set of three monkeys covering their eyes, mouth, and ears (see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil), and a carving of a sleeping cat curled up. At night, a sinister atmosphere pervades, and it becomes the hiding place of a powerful evil spirit.
