Beginning of the Inheritance Ceremony
In *Edonoe Elf*, at the start of episode 3 'The Inheritance Ceremony Begins', the scene shows an old shrine located in a city neighborhood. A long stone staircase leads up to a dark wooden torii gate. Two girls dressed in miko (shrine maiden) attire stand at the bottom of the stairs, with serious expressions, about to begin the inheritance ceremony. Residential houses surround the area, and modern buildings can be seen in the distance.
